    Preheat the oven to 350°F /180°C degrees

    Start by combining the dry ingredients, set aside

    Whisk the eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy, almost tripled in size

    Lower the speed and add honey and vanilla extract

    Mix for another minute and start adding dry ingredients by sifting and folding with a spatula

    Divide the batter into 3 equal portions

    Line a 9” baking pan with parchment paper, spray with cooking oil

    Spread the batter evenly and bake 20 minutes or until dark golden color Set aside to cool down while you make the buttercream

    Beat the butter on high speed until fluffy and light

    Lower the speed and add the caramel

    Then the honey, whiskey and walnuts

    Simply mix all the ingredients

    Place the first layer on your serving or cake plate

    Lightly brush with syrup, use a pastry brush

    Spread some of the buttercream and place the second layer, brush with syrup

    Repeat until all the layers are frosted, even the top layer , refer to YouTube tutorial for more details

    Sprinkle the top with the remaining walnuts and shaved chocolate

    Allow the cake to set in the fridge 2-3 hours, slice and enjoy!
